About this business
Demanded Off License And Grocery Store In Portsmouth with Draught Beer dispenser
This is a highly popular independent convenience store that is positioned in the heard of Kingston Road in Portsmouth. The business has been trading successfully for several years and has recently benefitted from a significant renovation from its current family owners.
Currently generating approx. £2,000 per week in revenue, but holds potential to increase this significantly.
The current opportunity fills a gap in the market for a European foods store that provides an accessible and extensive product range or groceries, household items, confectionary, tobacco and alcohol. It is understood that the business has the broadest selection of alcohol in the area and even benefits from draught beer capabilities via a Lindr dispensing machine.
There is a fair and flexible lease in place for the ground floor unit that also benefits from a private external terrace to the rear to compliment the circa 3,000 sq ft of retail space. There is no long term debt of borrowing for the business and we are advised that there is typical stock holdings of around £25,000 at cost value.
The current owners are now wishing to sell due to family commitments and are flexible with sale conditions to facilitate a quick exit.
